Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift

Greenleaf Foods, a leading producer of plant based healthy foods, is looking for a Third Shift Maintenance Technician, with the potential for advancement to Team Lead .  

10:00 PM – 7 AM Monday through Friday (some weekend work may occur as needed - hours may vary depending on business needs).


Performs maintenance activities necessary to keep the physical plant (i.e. buildings, grounds and equipment) in operational working condition.  Performs preventative maintenance activities plus scheduled and emergency repairs.  Performs additional assigned tasks to support the safe and productive manufacture of quality product and to meet the goals of the company.  
 
 Position Responsibilities:
•    Performs maintenance activities necessary to keep the physical plant (i.e. buildings, grounds and equipment) in operational working condition.
•    Performs preventative maintenance activities plus scheduled and emergency repairs. Ensuring follow-through with work orders.
•    Assist in the maintenance of inventory and shop tools and equipment.
•    Assist with the implementation of capital projects.
•    Liaise with Engineering and Operations on matters relating to equipment maintenance and availability.
•    Demonstrate an active involvement/commitment to a progressive health and safety program and food safety program.
•    Ensure that all maintenance work is captured on work orders and entered into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
•    Ensure that all scheduled work orders are completed in the allocated time.
•    Assist with the identification of root causes following equipment failures and development of new maintenance tasks to eliminate them in the future.
•    Supervise Maintenance Teme in case of Supervisor absence. 
•    Ensure that all scheduled work orders are completed in the allocated time.
•    Evaluate incoming work notifications and, when warranted, generate and prioritize a work order to cover the work.

Qualifications:
•    Knowledge of general building maintenance.
•    Word/Excel and data entry computer skills.
•    Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
•    Must have own tools, be able to troubleshoot and supply mechanical support on manufacturing equipment.
•    Obtain State of Massachusetts Wastewater Treatment level 1 operator license within 6 months of hire date.
•    Able to manage maintenance and maintenance resources effectively through the use of key performance indicators and benchmarking.
•    Conversant in preventive and predictive maintenance tactics.
