Plant Finance Manager
The Opportunity: The Plant Finance Manager, reporting to the Finance Lead – Plant Operations and Capital Investments, will play an important role in aiding the development of an optimized manufacturing strategy for our plant protein platform. This position will drive financial and operational performance of the Greenleaf Foods manufacturing network through a focus on financial reporting and analysis, controls, and centralized processes. The Finance Manager will work across different business units with members of the Finance, Strategy, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to develop a working knowledge to support strategic assumptions and analyses.
A snapshot of some of the exciting things you will do:
In coordination with Operations leadership, oversee preparation of accurate and timely reporting, budgets, and forecasts
Support financial oversight of manufacturing strategy initiatives
Support ad hoc analyses for network and strategy projects
Coordinate analyses, reporting, and forecasting support for capital investments
Implement and ensure compliance with internal finance and accounting policies and procedures; identify and correct for potential control risks in a timely manner
Participate as a key member of the site leadership team
Conduct financial analyses to interpret trends, key drivers, and variances from standards; provide counsel on performance improvement opportunities and actions
Review, challenge, and enhance processes and repeatable analyses in support of operational performance management and continuous improvement

What you will bring:
Prior manufacturing finance and warehouse leadership experience, with comfort in spending time on a plant floor
Ability to deal with ambiguity, adapt within a fast-changing environment, and a willingness to lead ad hoc projects as necessary
General accounting knowledge, strong Microsoft Office capability, and prior experience with SAP
An intellectually curious and growth focused mindset
Strong analytical skills with the capability to dive into large, detailed data sets without getting overwhelmed
Willingness and ability to travel up to 5%
