Position Title: 
Sanitation Tech 1
AM Shift 
06:00am- 02:30pm 

Sanitation Tech 2
Overnight Shift 
09:00pm- 05:30am
 

Schedule and Pay:

  • $18.42 per hour for 06:00am- 02:30pm
  • $19.44 per hour for 09:00pm- 05:30am plus additional $1.00 shift differential pay
  • Monday- Friday with possible additional hours and weekend shifts
 

Duties:

  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices following all sanitation process procedures, guidelines & reference SOP’s where applicable
  • Successfully complete sanitation process trainings
  • Disassemble, sanitize, reassemble food processing equipment
  • Use approved chemicals to disinfect surfaces. 
  • Become knowledgeable of all applicable Material Safety Data Sheets for chemicals used
  • Clean and remove ingredient and chemical barrels
  • Read and understand production schedule
  • Properly document and record department information as required
  • Assist with training and retraining of team members

 

Qualifications: 

  • Able to move constantly and quickly for an entire 8 hour shift
  • Responsible about getting work done independently
  • Can handle working in hot/ cold environments

 

What you will bring:

  • Ideally at least 1 year manufacturing experience, preferably in food industry
  • Must have flexibility to work overtime including weekends
  • Availability to work evening and/or night shifts.
  • Knowledge of sanitation chemicals is preferred
  • Experience cleaning or sanitizing equipment is a plus
  • Ability to work in wet or humid conditions regularly
  • Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, bend and lift up to 60 pounds
  • Experience with or ability to learn power industrial equipment
