Position Description Greenleaf has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Financial/Pricing Analyst. This role is a key position that will focus on the analysis of product & customer pricing as well as supporting our financial planning and analysis processes. This position will report to the Manager, FP&A. Essential functions include but are not limited to:
Supporting end-to-end product & customer specific pricing
Preparing pricing models and what if financial scenarios which will require significant collaboration with functional teams (Finance, Sales, Marketing, PD & Supply Chain) in order to compile all the necessary inputs to test assumptions (i.e. volume, trade, procurement, costing, competitive analysis etc.)
Providing recommendations and gaining alignment from management regarding pricing & price promotion strategy
Assisting in the analysis and execution of product price increases
Supporting weekly /month-end / quarter-end activities through reporting and analysis
Analyzing results to identify trends and working with business partners to understand variances
Supporting the forecast and budgeting process
Ad hoc analysis, projects as required
BS Degree in Business, Finance, or Economics with 3+ years of experience
Relevant experience with pricing analytics and P&L understanding
Strong planning, project management, analytical and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in fast pace environment with tight deadlines
Professional and amicable written and verbal skills with the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to non-finance business partners
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with large data sets
Experience with SAP / related BI preferred
Experience in food, other CPG companies or retail preferred, but not required
