Sr. Manager, Integrated Marketing Communications

The Opportunity:
As our Sr. Manager, Integrated Marketing Communications at Greenleaf Foods, you will not only be a part of a dynamic and entrepreneurial team, but you will have the opportunity to push for new ways to show up and create impact in this ever-changing media landscape. You’ll have the opportunity to introduce new media platforms, technologies and measurement solutions to meet brand strategies and business goals. You will work directly with the Director of Integrated Marketing Communications and have responsibility for a paid media strategy and budget. This individual needs to possess an attention to detail, excellent communication skills, intellectual curiosity with ability to lead cross functional teams in a fast-paced, high growth environment. 
 
Primary Responsibilities
A snapshot of some of the exciting things you will do:
  • Responsible for a paid media strategy and budget—from media briefing to reporting—with accountability for campaign effectiveness and efficiency
    • Own our external media agency relationships and any other third-party media vendors
    • Shepherd media plan end-to-end from insights, to brief development, to strategic plan review, and finalizing tactical plan
    • Continually push for innovation from agencies focusing on emerging technology, new creative formats and beta opportunities
    • Ensure thorough and accurate budget management against all media plans. Lead monthly budget tracking discussions with media agency.
    • Establish new and improve existing processes, policies and procedures around the full media supply chain; ensure business and financial controls are systematized 
  • Own robust campaign reports with media agency, built with a focus on go-forward actionable insights that facilitate ongoing optimizations
    • Strong analytical capabilities around media KPIs with the ability to communicate complex measurement into simple and relatable terms
    • Partner with brand teams to better understand impact of paid media on monthly business performance
  • Develop and drive annual and quarterly planning for integrated marketing communications (IMC) in partnership with brand teams and IMC team
    • Enable effective execution through thorough briefs (including priorities, targeting, product launches, budget, etc.) and frameworks that ensure brand alignment and support of key business objectives
    • Define workflows, timelines and deliverables in partnership with brand teams, IMC team, and agency partners/IAT to enable on-time and on-budget campaigns
    • Partner with brand teams, agencies and other partners to project manage production of all creative for media plan and support effective trafficking
    • Partner with agency partners in IAT to support this holistic annual planning process, beginning 6 months in advance of new annual cycle
  • Lead creative research and insights process to inform creative campaign platforms
    • Ensure campaign executions fall in line with consumer target and key consumer platform learnings
    • Monitor competitive activity and industry trends to inform creative
  • Oversee our brand websites and drive the management of their design, development and content with our agency partners
  • Responsible for communication of media objectives, strategy, plans, and performance results to leadership and across internal cross-functional teams
  • Coach and mentor team members with tangible and frequent performance feedback, maximizing retention and focusing on career growth for direct reports

What you will bring:
  • BS/BA in Marketing/Business or related field
  • 8 plus years of progressive experience in integrated marketing, digital marketing or media  
  • Strong financial/business acumen
  • Have a consumer-obsessed mindset
  • Budget management experience
  • Experience partnering with key stakeholders to successfully project manage production of all creative for a set media plan
  • High energy, positive outlook and results driven with an interest in taking ownership and assuming accountability
  • Ability to operate independently with strong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and/or requests in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated success managing agency relationships
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
