Effect business change through insightful analysis and financial thought-leadership.
Advise C-Suite and senior executive on business strategy using seasoned financial lens.
Prepare monthly reporting materials for our executive team as well as Board materials, presentations, and quarterly guidance.
Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual Corporate FP&A processes, including management reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning.
Lead the annual budgeting process.
Lead the 5-year strategic planning process.
Develop dashboards to track key performance measurements and monitor business performance.
Continually optimize financial tools with view to efficiency and faster insights.
Partner with commercial teams to drive performance, develop strategies, set actionable targets, and review new business opportunities.
Work closely with the Finance Leadership Team to build the financial infrastructure to support the company’s current and future business requirements.
Drive process improvements across the organization.
Lead strategic projects and support senior leadership on ad hoc research and analysis.
Knowledge and Skills Required
BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, economics, or another related field. MBA and/or CPA is preferred.
10+ years of applicable finance experience with majority of time spent in FP&A.
Experience in CPG.
Superb analytical/quantitative and communication skills and strong executive presence.
Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Skilled at influencing others.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, competing deadline driven environment.
Demonstrated commitment, self-motivation, and drive.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build successful relationships and partner at all levels.
Teamwork – Commitment to the successful achievement of team and organizational goals through a desire to participate with and help other members of the team.
Have a broad business view, high degree of curiosity and ability to view the business and solve problems with an executive mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Additional Knowledge and Skills Desired, but not Required
Comfortable with ambiguity.
Experience leading and developing an FP&A function.
Working knowledge of IFRS accounting principles.
Experience with ERP (preferable SAP) and corporate financial planning tools.
Comfortable making decisions.
Ability to creatively solve problems and drive solutions.
