Field Roast is seeking a career minded individual to join our warehouse team as a Warehouse Supervisor. This position supervises hourly employees on second shift to ensure workloads are completed accurately, and in a timely manner to ensure on time delivery to our internal/external customers. You will aid in overseeing inventory is accurately recorded/picked/moved according to proper handling instructions. Coordinate the shipping, receiving, warehousing of product, order picking, and cycle counts in conjunction with the Warehouse/Inventory Manager to ensure all customer orders are shipped on time in accordance with customer specification.
Responsible for executing SAP ECP transactions around checking in shipments, creating warehouse picks/orders, update orders as required.
Manage an hourly workforce in a fair and equitable manner in accordance with company policies, and lead them to deliver operational objectives including communications, safety, training, performance management, attendance management, competency assessments, coaching, and discipline when needed.
Monitor that paperwork is filled out in its entirety related to incoming/outgoing shipments; maintain temperature logs and inspect trailer for food transport suitability.
Ensure all warehouse employees are properly trained in health & safety and food storage required for BRC standards.
Manage all employee issues and grievances in accordance in accordance with company policy and work with Human Resources and management.
Assist in maintaining truck schedule for local deliveries/pick-ups.
Other project work as assigned by management.
