Covid 19 Screener

This is an entry level position, no experience necessary.

Position Title: 
Covid 19 Screener
 
Duties:

  • Greet all personnel and visitors who come through the screening trailer. Learn employee names and assist employees with little to no English skills through the screening process using pictures.
  • Will need to identify visitors to ensure they have prior approval to enter the building.
  • Must be confident in directing and correcting people on the proper protective protocols (handwashing, mask changing, etc.) and to stop people who do not pass the screening.
  • Complete the Covid-19 screening questionnaire in full with all personnel and visitors every day and be able to make decisions based on that information.
  • Will need to wear a K95 mask and face shield for entire shift and use gloves on occasion.
  • Duties include restocking mask changing stations, routine checks of exterior plant doors. Maintain the trailer including trash and refilling sinks.  Six months or more position.
 
 
Schedule and Pay:
 
  • $18.00/Hour - Day
  • $19.00/Hour – Nights and Weekends
 
Schedules may very shifts offered are:
 
Monday-Friday:
3:30 am to 2:00 pm
1:00 pm to 11:30 pm
 
Saturday
4:00 am to 3:30 pm
 
What you will bring: 
  • Can handle working for long periods of inactivity with bursts of being very busy during shift changes and be able to work alone at times.
  • Have good communication skills, with clear annunciation, and show patience with those who English is not their first language.
  • Must be able to walk or drive 3 blocks on rough terrain to other location at least once during shift.
  • Proficient or fluent in Vietnamese, Chinese or Spanish preferred.
  • Must be able to work up to 10.5 hour shifts and have reliable transportation.
