Position Title: 
FSQA Tech
AM Shift 

• With start time at 04:00am- 05:00am
  
   

Schedule and Pay:

• $24.00 per Hour
• 4 days per week and 10:00 hours per shift with possible additional hours and weekend shifts
   

Duties:
(not limited to)

• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices following all sanitation and process, procedures, guidelines and reference SOP’s where applicable
• Assist in the implementation of changes that advance QA systems and/or programs
• Conduct product quality audits
• Participate in projects and meetings with goal of improving food safety and food quality
• Perform and/or assist in daily quality and food safety related decision making based on established processes to ensure products meet the quality standards and food safety requirements of Greenleaf Foods, SPC, Maple Leaf Foods and its customers
• Perform data entry and data analysis tasks
• Perform daily monitoring and verification tasks as outlined in the HACCP program and recommend corrective actions for deviations
• Perform microbiological and analytical sampling for product and environment as required
• Prepare sensory samples and participates in sensory evaluations
• Provide support and coaching to employees and production management to maintain and improve facility QA practices and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

• 2 years of experience in a HACCP recognized facility in a food safety or quality assurance role
• Ability to be flexible and deal with complexity.
• Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
• Able to work in hot and cold environments
• Detail oriented and organized, able to work independently with minimal direction
• Familiarity with WSDA and FDA product standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office & database systems, experience with SAP highly desired

• Ability to bend, reach and lift repeatedly (up to 30lbs)
• Ability to work with your hands extensively and stand on your feet for 8 hours
• English proficiency for reading, writing and communicating
• Drive to continuously improve performance, efficiency, and speed
• FSQA experience in food processing, manufacturing is highly preferred
