eCommerce Digital Sales Specialist

The Opportunity:
The eCommerce Digital Sales Specialist is responsible for maintaining the content across our Lightlife and Field Roast portfolios across product set up platforms and eCommerce retail channels, including Amazon, Walmart and Kroger. This individual will coordinate cross-functionally for the development and execution of content for new products, keep existing products optimized, and provide the eCommerce practice with visibility on both content integrity and performance. This role is critical in supporting new product launches and key promotional periods. The eCommerce Digital Sales Specialist will utilize technology platforms for catalog management to ensure that all content is kept up to date, accurate, and meets industry best practices.
 

A snapshot of some of the exciting things you will lead and do:

  • Own information tracking and item set-up and syndication with platforms such as but not limited to 1WorldSync, GS1, IXOne, Syndigo, Salsify and Nielsen Brand Bank
  • Executing E-Commerce strategy for Greenleaf
    • Recommend website enhancements; brand page to complement E-Com Promotions
    • Deploy and maintain brand store content and “A+” enhanced content, and brand.com website content.
    • Research; perform competitive market analysis
    • Maintenance of retailer information in all online platforms listed above
    • Partnership with Marketing Associates to ensure proper data management
  • Own and maintain eCommerce content process guidelines to stay up to date with retailer.com requirements and best practices. Notify internal stakeholders when updates to retailer guidelines change.
  • Perform regular content audits on product description pages to continually assess the efficacy of content’s impact on sales performance.
  • Coordinate with internal nutrition scientists to manage and update product benefits and claims across the catalog.
  • Manage the collection of product renders and labels from the company database for use in content projects.
  • Work with Customer Teams to manage PDP content updates for emerging eCommerce channels.
  • Support business services across all digital platforms both internally and externally including but not limited to IMT, vendor platforms and Hightail
  • Assist in performing research on competitors at retail and presentations
  • Execute communication to brokers on regular cadence regarding product strategy and marketplace
  • Maintain and Organize GLF Retail Sales Library; creation/ enhancement of tools as needed
    • New Product Launch Checklist
    • Sample Tracker
    • Price List, Certifications
  • Own the collection and develop the Weekly Item Set Up Recap
  • Work with manager to create best practices for Microsoft Teams capabilities and communication
  • Collaborate with sales coordinator to compile and distribute relevant news articles about the industry, customers and competitors

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of executional e-commerce experience working with eCommerce retail channels including Amazon and Walmart
  • Experience with Syndigo is preferred, Salsify a plus
  • Experience working with large product catalogs preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work streams across brands
  • Ability to think critically and execute tasks accurately
  • Strong organizational, communication and planning skills are essential
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
